Start Your Journey into the Future with Cisco's AI Solutions Learning Path
Hey AI enthusiasts! Get ready to embark on an incredible learning journey with the partial release of the AI Solutions on Cisco Infrastructure Essentials Learning Path.
Since the release of the CCDE exam topics, Cisco’s vast community of subject matter experts and IT pros have identified a comprehensive list of topics and skills needed to design and deploy AI on Cisco solutions.
This learning path is your first step on that journey. Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned pro, this is your chance to tour the world of AI and the essentials of deploying, migrating, and operating AI solutions on Cisco data center infrastructure.
Out of five total tracks, we’ve published a sneak preview of Tracks 1 and 2, which are available here on the Cisco U. free tier.
Track 1: AI Basics
This track is your gateway to understanding the fundamental elements of AI. You’ll explore core concepts that define the AI landscape, from machine learning algorithms to neural networks.
We investigate applications of AI and showcase how these technologies are transforming industries and solving real-world problems.
You’ll learn about the challenges that come with deploying AI solutions and discover strategies for optimization to ensure your AI systems perform efficiently and effectively.
At the end of Track 1, you’ll test your hands-on skills working with Jupyter Notebook, a foundational tool for AI development.
Track 2: AI Infrastructure Requirements and Compliance
In this track, we focus on the backbone of AI solutions— the infrastructure—and examine the essential components required to build and manage AI workloads in modern data centers.
You’ll test strategies for designing robust AI infrastructures that meet performance and scalability demands.
We’ll also cover critical policies and governance frameworks to ensure compliance and secure management of AI systems. A design-focus lab will round out this track, where you’ll make critical decisions to optimize Cisco for AI.
At the end of this track, you’ll have the tools to handle AI infrastructure like a pro, paving the way for successful deployment and maintenance.
But wait, there’s more on the horizon!
Future AI tracks
We’re already hard at work developing Tracks 3, 4, and 5. These upcoming tracks will cover everything from AI network architectures and data management to the latest in computer hardware and software.
They offer exciting hands-on lab experiences that will help you master AI architecture challenges, including:
- Migrating from traditional networks to cutting-edge AI/ML solutions
- Data movement, performance, and preparation
- Setting up AI clusters
- Deploying and scaling local GPT instances
